On Friday 10th October 2025, the members of Athelstan Conclave No. 502 gathered at Alderson House in Warwick for a distinguished occasion: the Installation of Bro.  Ronald George Williams as Supreme Ruler for the ensuing year. The ceremony was presided over by Wy. Bro.  Hosey Davoudian P.G. Swd B, the Provincial Grand Chancellor, whose attendance lent the event a sense of significance and formality. The gathering was further enriched by the presence of numerous visitors, including Right Worthy Bro.  Raymond Ellis, Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler for the Province of the East Midlands. Also in attendance were a number of grand officers, officers of the Provincial Grand Conclave of Warwickshire led by Provincial Grand Guide W. Bro.  Phillip Kent, and members of the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler’s Arch of Steel under the command of Deputy Commander Bro.  Paul Fernandez-Montes.

The Installation Ceremony itself was a model of excellence, conducted with dignity and precision by Wy. Bro.  Chris Hallam. Following this, the Commissioning of the new Supreme Ruler, Bro.  Ronald George Williams, was performed in an exemplary manner by R. Wy. Bro.  Raymond Ellis, whose words and actions underscored the importance and solemnity of the occasion.

During the business of the Conclave, there was further cause for celebration as three brethren were balloted for and accepted as joining members, reflecting the ongoing growth and vitality of the Conclave. Additionally, the outgoing Supreme Ruler proposed a candidate for induction, who had shown interest in the Order following a recent presentation on the Order of the Secret Monitor delivered by the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler to Craft members at Alderson House. This outreach and engagement highlight the Conclave’s commitment to expanding its membership and strengthening the bonds of Brotherhood.

Athelstan Conclave No. 502 holds a unique place in Warwickshire, being the only Conclave in the Province that meets during the daytime. This distinctive characteristic fosters a congenial and welcoming environment, encouraging participation from brethren who may not be able to attend evening meetings.

As Wy. Bro.  Ronald George Williams assumes his new role as Supreme Ruler; the members extend their heartfelt best wishes for a successful and enjoyable year ahead.
