A Special Evening at Rochberie Conclave No. 399, On Friday, 5th June 2026, Rochberie Conclave No. 399 held its highly anticipated annual Installation Meeting. This year’s meeting was particularly special because of the brother being installed into the highest office.

Brother Jon Castle took the chair as the new Supreme Ruler. Jon is already a well-known and highly respected figure in the order, serving as the Commander of the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler’s Arch of Steel. On top of that, he is currently in the process of joining the prestigious Grand Supreme Ruler’s Arch of Steel.

 The evening saw an incredible turnout, reflecting the deep respect the members have for Jon. The Conclave was honoured by the presence of several distinguished guests and leaders:

 Wy. Bro. Dennis Freshwater (Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler), who had the distinct honour of commissioning Jon into his new role.

 

• Wy. Bro. Neil Watkin (Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler), who delivered a powerful and traditional address to the new Supreme Ruler.
• Grand and Provincial Grand Officers, along with numerous members of the Provincial Arch of Steel, who came out in full force to support one of their own.

The installation ceremony itself was a masterclass in ritual. It was conducted by Wy. Bro. Martin Grahame-Dunn (the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies), who executed the proceedings flawlessly and with great dignity, setting a wonderful tone for the night.

Following the formal ceremony, the brethren enjoyed a fantastic evening of camaraderie, celebration, and good food.
