On Monday, February 3^rd, 2025, the members of St Martins Conclave No 509 and their esteemed guests gathered for the Installation meeting.

The Conclave was honoured to host the distinguished Most Worthy Grand Supreme Ruler, several Grand Officers the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, R.Wy. Bro. Dennis Freshwater and his Deputy, Wy Bro. Neil E. A. Watkin, along with the dedicated officers of the Provincial Grand Conclave of Warwickshire. We also welcomed the enthusiastic members of the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler’s Arch of Steel who all contributed to a memorable gathering filled with shared experiences and camaraderie.

The proceedings began with the Supreme Ruler, V Wy Bro Reg Willsher, leading the Installation of Bro Alan Brumwell as Supreme Ruler for the coming year. This important transition was marked by ceremonial dignity, as esteemed members and many guests gathered to share in this significant occasion.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and professionalism as the Members settled in, eager to witness this event that promised to shape their community’s future. The respect and camaraderie shared among attendees enhanced the experience, creating an environment rich in tradition and pride.

After completing the initial segment of the ceremony with great respect, V Wy Bro Reg invited the Most Worthy Grand Supreme Ruler to take his esteemed position in the chair. This moment marked a key shift in the proceedings, and as the ceremony continued. Most Worthy Brother Andrew Sweeney proceeded to obligate, invest, and install W Bro Alan into the chair, formally entrusting him with the responsibilities of his new role. In a heartfelt moment, he commissioned the newly appointed Supreme Ruler, emphasising the duties and privileges linked to this important position. The atmosphere was filled with pride and duty as all recognised the occasion’s significance.

The evening’s surprises continued as the M Wy GSR appointed Wy Bro Alan as the Deputy Grand Recorder and conferred a field promotion on Wy Bro Cedric Stiles to Past Grand Registrar, making him a Very Worthy Brother., a moment that left Cedric momentarily speechless (quite a feat!).

This promotion acknowledged their hard work and inspired all present to strive for excellence in their contributions.

The recognition from distinguished leaders within the fraternity highlighted the occasion’s importance, reinforcing everyone’s commitment.

It was a proud moment for the entire Conclave, as friends and fellow members celebrated their achievements with genuine applause and smiles.
