The Grand Supreme Ruler supports record breaking charity donation by Warwickshire Conclaves
Working together as part of the new Warwickshire provincial charity structure, the members of Athelstan, Godiva, Rocheberie and Sutton Coldfield conclaves were able to break all previous Secret Monitor records and raise £6,000 to refurbish inpatient bathrooms at The Myton Hospice in Coventry.
It was not an easy journey because despite extraordinary efforts by many members throughout 2025/26, plus the support of the new Warwickshire provincial charity structure and a successful application to the OSM matched funding scheme, they still found themselves £1,000 short of the target.
On hearing about the shortfall, and the incredible efforts and commitment of so many conclaves working together, the Grand Supreme Ruler, Andrew Sweeney, stepped in, and with the assistance of Mark Masons Hall’s Charity Manager, Darren Coleman- Heald, made up the shortfall from special reserve funds.
